Ulster loose forward Marcell Coetzee is awaiting news on the knee injury he suffered in the first half of their win over Glasgow on Friday.
Coetzee sustained the injury in the first half of the match, but played on until he was substituted at half time. Ulster went on to win the match 19-13.
Ulster will not know the extent of Coetzee’s injury for the next 48 hours as he will have to undergo scans to determine the extent of the knee damage.
Coetzee is set to leave Ulster at the end of the PRO14 season to join the Vodacom Bulls. He is expected to link up with the Pretoria-based team in July, but both the Bulls and Springbok coaching staff will be concerned about the news of his latest injury.
The 29-year-old had a nightmare run of recurring knee injuries in his first two seasons with Ulster.
‘We won’t know how serious that is until we get a good look at it,’ Ulster head coach Dan McFarland said.
