Blitzboks outclass Kenya

South Africa defeated Kenya 19-7 with three tries to one on day two of the Las Vegas Sevens.

Werner Kok opened the scoring with a great run that saw him shrug off a number of tackles. Collins Injera then hit back for Kenya on the stroke of half-time to level the scores.

The second half saw a try from Stephan Dippenaar, who ducked under the Keynan defence. The Blitzboks scored their third try shortly after, pouncing on a handling error by Kenya, with Seabelo Senatla kicking ahead and chasing the ball to dot down under the posts for his fifth try of the tournament.

South Africa controlled the final moments of the game to win 19-7.

South Africa have comfortably topped Pool A and will play Argentina in the Cup quarter-finals.

The Blitzboks never conceded a try on day one of the tournament, when they defeated Wales 43-0 and Canada 29-0.
