Western Province coach John Dobson has named a 27-man squad for their two-match tour to France ahead of the Currie Cup.
Province will face French second division club Narbonne on Saturday, before taking on giants Montpellier on Thursday, 16 August.
The squad includes experienced Super Rugby campaigners Dillyn Leyds, JJ Engelbrecht and Jano Vermaak.
‘We are looking forward to experiencing the rugby culture in France, which will give us a great opportunity to come together as a team,’ said coach John Dobson.
‘We have two tough matches to prepare for, which should give us a good idea of where we are at ahead of the Currie Cup campaign.’
WP will kick their Currie Cup season off against the Free State Cheetahs at Newlands on 25 August.
