Luke Watson used all his experience to get the better of Nizaam Carr at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday, writes BRENTON CHELIN.
The Kings captain rolled back the years to produce a complete display, despite his side's failure to dominate the collisions.
It was his decision to turn down a kickable penalty and go for the corner which led to the Kings' first try, scored by Watson himself.
Not to be outdone, Carr grabbed a try of his own as he came into the game during the second period. It was a real battle, and the two No 8's even got into a scuffle midway through the second half.
It was Watson's greater impact around the park, and as a leader, which gave him the edge in the Duel of the Week.
