Springbok fullback Willie le Roux has announced he has agreed to a contract extension with Japanese club Toyota Verblitz.
The 31-year-old left English club Wasps to join Verblitz on a one-year deal for the 2019-20 season, but announced on Wednesday that he has signed on to remain in Japan.
The details of Le Roux’s contract extension are not yet known, but the player put out a tweet saying how excited he is to have agreed a new deal.
