The funeral service of legendary Springbok wing Chester Williams will be held at Newlands Stadium on Saturday.
Williams passed away on Friday at the age of 49 after going into cardiac arrest.
It was confirmed on Monday that his funeral will take place at 12pm on Saturday at Newlands.
On Wednesday, 11 September at 1pm, there will also be a memorial service inside the main hall of the Bellville campus of the University of the Western Cape (UWC).
On Wednesday evening at 6pm, there’ll be another tribute at the Boland Cricket Ground in Paarl, where Williams was born and raised.
All three events will be open to the public.
