Western Province U19 wing Christian Ambadiang has been given a four-month ban for his role in a recent on-field brawl.
Ambadiang was involved in a fracas with Eastern Province fullback Dylan le Roux a couple of weeks ago.

Video footage showed Ambadiang taking exception after he was tackled by Le Roux, which led to a full-on fight between the two sides. Both players were red-carded but as they walked off the field, tempers flared up again as Ambadiang raced after Le Roux, slapped his head, pulled him back and then headbutted him. Le Roux then threw another punch and their teammates got involved again.
Ambadiang has been handed a three-week suspension by SA Rugby for the red card after which a 16-week ban will come into effect.
Because the ban has been split into two parts, the December off-season is not counted, so Ambadiang will only be allowed to play again next March.
Western Province are still busy with their own investigation into the incident but it is still not clear whether Eastern Province are doing the same with Le Roux.
