Check out this teaser for our first in a series of video collaborations, highlighting the inspirational work UXI Sport and its partners are conducting.
As part of its core fundamentals, UXI Sport drives employability of sportsmen and women during and after their sporting careers.
Their vision is ‘inspire greatness through sport to life’.
Rugby is UXI Sport’s first sport code and will focus on unique programmes and career opportunities for students such as video and analysis.
‘The key success factor is to offer a structured, disciplined environment where students are able to balance both their sport and academic programme,’ COO Thea Visagie commented. ‘With the education partner we aim to find employment for all graduates once they exit the programme. There is a plan for every student based on his ability and performance.’
In one example, the Cheetahs Institute of Excellence is operated and managed by UXI Sport, and has appointed CTU Training Solutions as a private tertiary education provider specialising in full-time (one- to three-year qualifications) and part-time studies as an official training partner.
As part of a collaboration with SA Rugby magazine, editor Craig Lewis was joined by Visagie, Cheetahs institute manager MJ Smith, head coach Albert Keuris and mental coach Ruan Botha to discuss the important work being conducted.
