New Zealand and Worcester Warriors lock Michael Fatialofa has started walking unaided as he continues his recovery from a spinal injury which required surgery.
We all need a ‘feel-good’ story right now !

Fatialofa suffered a neck injury during the Warriors’ 62-5 loss to Saracens in the English Premiership in January. He was transported to hospital, where he was later diagnosed with a spinal contusion, a serious condition which causes compression on the spine.
The 27-year-old underwent successful surgery to relieve the pressure caused by bruising and swelling. After three weeks in the ICU, he was moved to Stoke Mandeville’s world-renowned spinal injury unit.
His wife, Tatiana, posted the video on Instagram of him walking without any aid during his rehabilitation process.
