Juan de Jongh scored a try as Wasps beat Bath 31-26 at The Rec to move to second on the English Premiership log.
Wasps raced into a 19-0 lead after 20 minutes. Fullback Willie le Roux’s offload in the tackle put left wing Marcus Watson away for the opening try. Scrumhalf Dan Robson then dotted down, before Watson grabbed his second.
Watson was then yellow-carded for a deliberate knock-on, and Bath got back into the game with flyhalf Rhys Priestland and wing Jack Wilson scoring tries to reduce the deficit to five.
Wasps started the second half strongly as De Jongh scored their bonus-point try.
Openside flank Paul Grant scored for the hosts, but the visitors responded through centre Gaby Lovobalavu to make it 31-19.
Bath No 8 Zach Mercer went over under the posts to make it a five-point ball game again but Wasps were able to hold on for the win.
