London Wasps claimed a 32-21 bonus-point win over Gloucester to move into the top four of the English Premiership.
The result also sees Wasps maintaining their unbeaten record at their new Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Flank Thomas Young was at the forefront of the victory for Wasps, scoring two of his team's five tries, while former Wales flyhalf James Hook was the chief point-scorer for Gloucester with a conversion and three penalties.
Elsewhere, the Exeter Chiefs recorded their first ever Premiership win over Bath, with a 16-6 win. Exeter’s Will Chudley scored under the posts to put the result beyond doubt as Bath succumbed to a third-straight defeat.
The Sale Sharks suffered a 28-8 away loss against to the Leicester Tigers, in a match where three players were sin-binned. Ben Spencer kicked three penalties, as Saracens edged the Newcastle Falcons 22-13, despite being outscored three tries to one.
London Irish thrashed neighbours London Welsh 50-12 and in Friday’s only match, champions the Northampton Saints battled past Harlequins 17-13, to stay ahead of the chasing pack at the top of the log.
