Victorious Shimlas coach Franco Smith will be in charge of the Varsity Cup Dream Team to face the Junior Boks in Stellenbosch on 21 April.
Reniel Hugo from Tuks will captain the side which includes eight Pukke players, seven from Tuks, four from Shimlas and two from UCT, while there's one each from Maties and UKZN making up the rest of the squad. Innocent Radebe is the only player from the Varsity Shield to make the squad.
Smith, who took Shimlas to their first ever Varsity Cup title, will be assisted by Kovsies’ Hendro Scholtz and Tuks’ David Manual. Quinton van Rooyen and Tanya Green from Maties who will serve as team manager and physio respectively and Timothy Qumbu from Shimlas will be the sports scientist.
