Josiah Twum-Boafo will make his starting debut on the wing for the Kings in their match against Ulster in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
The former Grey High student, who played for NMU in the Varsity Cup, was on the bench for the Kings in their opening losses to the Cardiff Blues and Munster. He replaced Andell Loubser on the right wing.
The only other change to the starting lineup sees Rossouw de Klerk come in at tighthead prop in a rotational swap with Pieter Scholtz.
