Wales’ 39-man squad for the 2018 Six Nations features two uncapped players in flank James Davies and wing Josh Adams.
Davies (27) plays for the Scarlets and has also represented Wales Sevens and Great Britain Sevens at the 2016 Commonwealth Games.
Adams (22) has scored nine tries for the Worcester Warriors, making him the top try-scorer in the English Premiership this season.
The squad will be led by Alun-Wyn Jones and features a recall for Ospreys hooker Scott Baldwin by Wales coach Warren Gatland.
British & Irish Lions quartet George North, Liam Williams, Alex Cuthbert and Leigh Halfpenny have also been named in the squad.
‘It is an exciting opportunity for the two new caps,’ said Gatland. ‘James’ form over the past couple of years has been impressive, he’s in a competitive area but we look forward to seeing what he can do. For Josh, it’s a great opportunity, he’s been in great form and the back-three is somewhere we are looking to create depth in.’
‘Last autumn was about exposing and developing players as part of the two-year countdown to the World Cup, the next couple of months are about testing those players in tournament rugby – we know how important the Six Nations is.’
