Western Province have named a modified squad for the 2018 Craven Week in Paarl from 9-14 July with only two players retained from last season.
Paarl Boys’ High captain and lock Adrian Alberts, who captains the side, and Paarl Gim centre Dawid Kellerman appeared for Western Province at last year’s tournament.
The squad seems to be balanced with seven players called up from the unbeaten Paul Roos side, four from Paarl Gim, three from Paarl Boys’ and the remaining places shared between Wynberg, Bishops, Rondebosch, Stellenberg, Milnerton and Boland Landbou.
The team will be coached by Faizel Adam from Florida High, who will be assisted by Paarl Boys’ coach Sean Erasmus and Stellenberg’s Therlow Pietersen.
