Rosko Specman and Paul Schoeman have been ruled out of the Vodacom Bulls’ match against the Highlanders, while there is also concern about Warrick Gelant’s availability for the match.
Specman sustained a grade two hamstring strain, while Schoeman suffered a knee injury in the match against the Blues in Auckland.
Both players have returned to South Africa, with Schoeman set to undergo further scans to determine the extent of his injury. The fit-again Handré Pollard has been called up to replace Specman, and Eli Snyman will take Schoeman’s spot.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are sweating over the availability of Gelant. The fullback also picked up a hamstring strain, and a final call on his fitness will be made later in the week.
