Benetton Treviso stunned the Scarlets 25-19, while there were also wins for Edinburgh, Ulster, Leinster, Glasgow, Munster and Connacht in the Pro14.
Treviso enhanced their chances of progressing to the playoffs with another superb win against a more fancied opponent. The Scarlets, last season’s runners-up, are now in fifth position in the Conference B standings and in danger of missing out on a spot in the knockout stage.

The Scarlets had dominated their hosts early on as they opened a 12-7 thanks to tries by Kieran Hardy and Johnny McNicholl. Toa Halafihi crashed over for Treviso’s only score of the first half.
Treviso came out firing in the second half. The hosts scored an unconverted try and a penalty to take the lead for the first time. But New Zealand duo Kieron Fonotia and McNicholl combined well to shred Treviso’s defence as McNicholl went over for his second try which put the Scarlets back in front.
Trailing by four in the last quarter, Treviso upped the ante and were rewarded with a converted try and a late penalty to sink the Scarlets.

In other matches, Edinburgh scored five tries to maul the Dragons 34-17, Ulster battled past the Ospreys 8-0, defending champions Leinster whacked Zebre 40-24 and the Glasgow Warriors outlasted the Cardiff Blues 38-34 in a riveting clash.
