Paul Treu will face an anti-doping disciplinary hearing after an investigation has found steroids in supplements given to players on the Kenya Sevens team.
Treu and five members of his coaching staff have been singled out in a report by an anti-doping task force set up by the government to investigate doping in Kenya's top sports.
'There was “a concoction they [the coaches] gave players to drink at the beginning and end of training,' Moni Wekesa, the chairman of the task force that investigated, told Associated Press.
The report says the Kenyan players would stop taking the supplement a few days before competing. It went on to say that 'there were strong suggestions' the coaches violated anti-doping regulations after they introduced supplements to the players.
