Juan Smith is likely to feature for Toulon against Racing Métro in the French Top 14 this weekend.
The Springbok loose forward, deemed surplus to requirements for the Springbok tour of Australasia, has been selected in the Toulon squad ahead of their visit to Paris this coming weekend.
Smith struggled on his return to international rugby after almost four years out of the Bok set-up. He was substituted early in the second half of the narrow 33-31 victory over Argentina, with his replacement Marcell Coetzee playing a vital role in the Springbok turnaround.
He remains on standby for the Boks should there be any injuries in the next fortnight.
Toulon got the defence of their title off to a good start with a 29-15 win at Bayonne this past weekend.
