Grey College and Monument have climbed in the Rugby365 Top 20 schools rankings after finishing their season with big victories.

Grey beat Paul Roos 28-26 in a nailbiting shootout for the country’s top rugby school of 2018, while Monument showed their class by thrashing Helpmekaar 57-11 to retain the Virseker Cup.

The result moved Monument from eighth to fifth place, above Paarl Boys’ High and Boland Landbou, who hammered local rivals Oakdale 56-19 in their annual derby.

The top 20 could change again after this weekend’s Cape derbies, with Bishops playing Rondebosch and Wynberg hosting SACS.
