Flank Gary Graham has been added to the Scotland squad as an injury replacement for Blade Thomson.
Thomson sustained a concussion in the Scarlets’ defeat to Edinburgh in the Pro14 and has remained in the care of his club’s medical team.
Former Scotland U20 loose forward Graham has been called up as a replacement, having featured in the same World Rugby Junior Championship squad as current senior squad members Alex Allan, Ali Price and Finn Russell.
The son of former Scotland prop and forwards coach George, Graham was an unused call-up to England’s 2018 Six Nations squad on residency grounds.
Scotland next face the Springboks in Edinburgh on Saturday.
