Former Springbok utility back Jaco Taute could leave Munster at the end of the season to take up a contract with the Leicester Tigers.
According to the42.ie, the 27-year old will end his four-year stay in the Irish province when his contract expires in June, with Leicester his preferred destination.
Despite a promising start to his Munster career, which convinced the club to turn his initial four-month contract into a permanent stay, Taute has struggled to hold a place in the starting lineup since suffering a knee ligament injury in September 2017.
After returning to action last year, Taute captained Munster for the first time in their derby against Ulster.
