Western Province thrashed Free State 64-10 at the U13 Craven Week in Kimberley on Tuesday, while Boland beat the Golden Lions and the Blue Bulls drew with South Western Districts.

There were wins for Western Province, the Blue Bulls, Boland, Limpopo, Griffons, SWD, Free State, Eastern Province and the Golden Lions at the U13 Craven Week in Kimberley on Monday.
The Golden Lions XV beat the Blue Bulls 47-29 in Johannesburg, while there were also wins for Western Province, the Sharks XV, Pumas, Boland and Griquas in the Provincial Rugby Challenge.
Barend van Graan will leave the Blue Bulls Rugby Union when his contract comes to an end in January 2019.
Bulls assistant coach Pote Human is the favourite to take charge of the team during the Currie Cup.
Western Province needed a late penalty to beat the Boland Cavaliers 23-21, while there were also wins for the Blue Bulls, Sharks XV, Golden Lions XV, SWD Eagles and Free State XV in the Provincial Rugby Challenge.
The Bulls have added a Super Rugby warm-up game against the Jaguares to their pre-season schedule. According to SuperSport.com, the Bulls will host the Jaguares on 10 February, which adds to pre-season clashes against the Lions, Sharks and Stormers. Jamba Ulengo and Lizo Gqoboka have returned to full pre-season training with the Bulls, although a number of other players remain sidelined with injury. Junior Blue Bulls player Khwezi Mafu will again appear in court on 8 January following his arrest on allegations of sexual assault.
