The probe into the SuperSport studio walkout saga has been extended until 18 June in order to allow Ashwin Willemse to testify.
Willemse walked off the SuperSport set during a live discussion with Nick Mallett and Naas Botha after the Lions’ win against the Brumbies last Saturday. He accused the duo of ‘patronising’ him.

The incident has been subject to an independent review led by advocate Vincent Maleka. The findings of the review were meant to be presented by 11 June.
However, according to Sport24, Willemse has yet to testify despite SuperSport concluding most of its interviews with other key figures.
Therefore the date to present the findings has been postponed by a week in order to allow Willemse to present his version of events.
None of the three pundits has appeared in their studio roles since the incident, with Jean de Villiers, Victor Matfield and English guests Stuart Barnes and Jeremy Guscott set to do duty during the Springboks Test series against England.
However, the three are not on suspension and are still being remunerated as per usual.
