Marius van der Westhuizen Super Rugby referees (Round 2)
Published on February 4, 2020

Marius van der Westhuizen will referee Saturday’s Vodacom Super Rugby derby between the Stormers and Vodacom Bulls at Newlands.

There are five matches on Saturday with proceedings starting in Hamilton with the clash of the round between the Chiefs and Crusaders. In this Kiwi derby top coaches Warren Gatland and Scott Robertson will go head to head. Ben O’Keeffe holds the whistle while AJ Jacobs will be in Newcastle in New South Wales for the Waratahs versus Blues match.

Jaco Peyper will head to Johannesburg to take charge of the Lions versus Reds clash, while fellow South African Marius van der Westhuizen takes charge in Cape Town where the Stormers face the Bulls.

The weekend again closes in Buenos Aires where the Jaguares, fresh from a big home win in round one, take on the Hurricanes at Amalfitani Stadium. Referee Rasta Rasivhenge backs up from last week’s game in Buenos Aires.
