Former Bok coach Rudolf Straeuli will take over from Manie Booysen as the new CEO of the Golden Lions Rugby Union.

This was confirmed by the union's president, Kevin de Klerk, on Thursday.

Straeuli, who was the Sharks commercial manager before becoming the Lions general manager of professional rugby, will replace Booysen on 1 June, when the latter's contract ends.
