Stormers welcome back big guns

Juan de Jongh returns to the Stormers' lineup to lead the side against the Brumbies at Newlands on Saturday.

Coach Allister Coetzee has again made 14 changes to his starting XV for the Vodacom Super Rugby play-off qualifier.

In an all-new backline, De Jongh will be partnered by Damian de Allende in the midfield; fullback Cheslin Kolbe and wings Dillyn Leyds and Seabelo Senatla form the back three; while Demetri Catrakilis and Nic Groom come in as the halfbacks.

Up front, Nizaam Carr retains the No 8 jersey in the absence of Duane Vermeulen who is still nursing a neck injury. Siya Kolisi and Schalk Burger will start on the side of the scrum, with Manuel Carizza and Eben Etzebeth as locks. Props Frans Malherbe and Steven Kitshoff complete the front row with hooker Bongi Mbonambi.

Hooker Scarra Ntubeni has been passed fit and will make his return to action via the bench.
