Vincent Koch will start at tighthead prop for the Stormers against the Cheetahs at Newlands on Saturday.
Koch has been restored to the starting XV in one of three changes to the side that saw off the Rebels last weekend. Elsewhere in the forward pack Schalk Burger is handed a well-deserved rest, with Nizaam Carr given a start in his 50th Vodacom Super Rugby match.
The final change sees Nic Groom return at scrumhalf, with Louis Schreuder reverting to the bench.
The Stormers enter Saturday's match atop the South African conference, although coach Allister Coetzee is wary of a Cheetahs side that defeated them 25-17 in Bloemfontein earlier this month.
'We want to consolidate [on] our systems and ensure we keep winning, but, in order to do that, we will continue to focus on our own game and ensure we limit our mistakes against a Cheetahs team that will punish us if we are not accurate – as they did against us in Bloemfontein,' said Coetzee.
