Steyn set for White reunion

Frans Steyn looks set to join French side Montpellier in the Top 14 at the conclusion of the World Cup.

The Sharks utility back will be one of a host of new players recruited by coach Jake White, who first picked Steyn for the Springboks in 2006.

Steyn has vast experience of playing in the Top 14, having previously represented Racing Métro between 2009 and 2012.

White confirmed a total of 20 new signings for Montpellier, with the majority of those players from either South Africa or Australia.

Along with Steyn, the Du Plessis brothers, Bismarck and Jannie, scrumhalf Cameron White, flyhalf Demetri Catrakilis, prop Schalk van der Merwe, hooker Craig Burden and loose forward Pierre Spies are some of the other big names White has lured to Montpellier.
