Following the untimely passing of Kaunda Ntunja, a compilation of stats and facts about the award-winning rugby commentator and former Junior Springbok captain.

Stats and facts
– Ntunja was born in East London.
– He attended Dale College and played for Border at the U18 Craven Week in 2000.
– He became the first black African to captain SA Schools and SA U19 in 2000 and 2001, respectively.
– After playing junior rugby for the Sharks, he represented the Cheetahs, Southern Kings and Lions at senior level, before hanging up his boots in 2008 due to recurring injuries.
– Ntunja became a Xhosa rugby commentator for SuperSport, commentating his first match between the Kings and the British & Irish Lions in 2009.
– In June 2018, he famously introduced Siya Kolisi for his first Test as Springbok captain, against England at Ellis Park.
