Springbok contender Rosko Specman is set to start a loan spell at the Stormers for the remainder of the Rainbow Cup in order to bank some important game time.
The 32-year-old featured for the Cheetahs in a much-needed hit out against an Invitational XV on Saturday, and is in line to be included in the Springboks’ 45-man squad this Saturday.
According to Rapport, he will now begin a loan spell at the Stormers effectively as a national ‘favour’ in order to help him remain match ready.
Specman could feature for the SA ‘A’ side against the British & Irish Lions on 14 July, with the extended Bok squad then set to be whittled down to between 35 and 37 players.
