Bok flank Juan Smith crossed for their other try, as the champions rose to the summit of the French Top 14 standings.
Meanwhile, a penalty by Australian Ben Lucas five minutes into injury time handed Jake White’s Montpellier a 15-15 draw with La Rochelle. The result sees Montpellier retain ninth position on the log.
In other results, seven points from the boot of Morné Steyn helped Stade Français egde Bordeaux 23-22, Oyonnax beat Toulouse 9-3, Clermont scored three tries to defeat Bayonne 28-16, Racing Métro secured an exciting 34-29 bonus-point win over Grenoble, and Castres were 23-20 victors against Lyon – despite losing flank Yannick Caballero in the 20th minute after he was red-carded.
