Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold will be assisted by Ryan Strudwick, Robert du Preez, Sean Everitt and Omar Mouneimne in Vodacom Super Rugby next year.

Notably, Brendan Venter, who served as a technical consultant in 2015, was not mentioned as part of the coaching team announced on Tuesday.

Strudwick will coach the forwards, with Du Preez and Everitt looking after skills and attack, while Mouneimne will take charge of defence.

'A lot of work was done prior to the start of our pre-season campaign to assemble a skilled group of coaches, who we have no doubt will assist in improving our performances,' Gold commented. 'These gentlemen understand our unique culture and have brought in a much needed edge and energy to take us forward.'
