The Sharks set a new tournament scoring record when they hammered Eastern Province 134-7 in the U19 Championship on Saturday. 

The Sharks scored 20 tries in yet another demoralising loss for the hapless EP team, who conceded 100 points for the second time this season (they lost 104-12 to the Golden Lions in June).

The previous U19 record also involved EP, who were beaten 108-3 by Western Province last year.

EP are now rooted to the bottom of the table with no points after eight games, 14 points below the sixth-placed Leopards.
