Scotland scored seven tries in their convincing 48-10 win against Canada in Alberta on Saturday.
Scotland hooker George Turner scored a second-half hat-trick as Canada struggled to muster any kind of response in the face of an onslaught, only getting on the board through a penalty try and a penalty goal from flyhalf Shane O’Leary.
The visitors only led 15-3 at half-time, but it could have been more, such was their dominance. Tries from Byron McGuigan and Ruaridh Jackson, along with a Sam Hidalgo-Clyne penalty, gave them the lead at the break.
However, Scotland ran away with the game in the second half as Turner came off the bench to grab his hat-trick, with Magnus Bradbury and Lewis Carmichael adding tries despite Jackson seeing yellow for a deliberate knockdown.
