SARugbymag.co.za looks back at the past weekend's European Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup finals, involving South African players.
– Saracens, under the leadership of Brad Barritt, beat Clermont 28-17 to clinch a second successive Champions Cup title. Prop Vincent Koch and flank Michael Rhodes started alongside Barritt, while replacements Petrus du Plessis, Schalk Brits and Schalk Burger all played a significant role off the bench for Sarries. Fullback Scott Spedding turned out for the runners-up and set up a beautiful team try with a brilliant counter-attack from the back, but it wasn't enough for Clermont.
