Grant Hattingh, Lappies Labuschagne and Willie Britz have been selected in the Sunwolves’ starting XV to face the Brumbies in Tokyo on Saturday.
Former Bulls pair Hattingh and Labuschagne will make their debuts for the Japanese franchise. Hattingh will play No 4 lock, while Labuschagne starts at blindside flank.
Britz, who has been playing for the Sunwolves since last season, earns a starting berth at the back of the scrum.
Overall, there are 16 foreign-born players in the Sunwolves’ match-day squad, nine in the run-on team and seven on the bench.
