WP Nel and Josh Strauss have been recalled to the Scotland squad ahead of Saturday’s Six Nations Test against England at Murrayfield.
Nel is back in the national setup after a three-month stint on the sidelines due to a broken arm. Strauss had been overlooked when the initial squad was selected, but coach Vern Cotter has invited him back to the training group.
Other new additions to the squad are Tim Visser, Matt Scott, James Malcolm and Tim Swinson.
They replace Duncan Taylor (head injury), Richie Gray (calf injury), as well as Magnus Bradbury, Nathan Fowles, Murray McCallum and D’Arcy Rae, who’ve been released.
