Former Springbok Brendan Venter and ex-team psychologist Pieter Kruger will be facilitating the SA Rugby coaching indaba next week.

The indaba, which will take place in Cape Town on 19 and 20 October, will be attended by CEOs and coaching staff of all six Super Rugby franchises in conjunction with Springbok coaching staff, members of the rugby department, former Springbok coaches and players.

The two-day gathering will be used to discuss current playing trends across a wide range of areas of game play and seek alignment within SA Rugby on ways to ensure rugby excellence and continuous improvement to remain a top rugby-playing nation.

In addition, SA Rugby confirmed on Tuesday that they will be addressing longer-term interventions to assist the Springbok team, with Venter and Kruger facilitating proceedings.
