SA Rugby confirms Craven Week fixtures

The Lions celebrate at the 2017 Craven Week Lions Craven Week

The Golden Lions will begin the defence of their unofficial U18 Craven Week crown against Eastern Province.

The Lions beat the Sharks 45-18 in the main match at last year’s Craven Week at St Stithians College in Johannesburg.

This year’s Craven Week and Academy Week will be hosted by Paarl Boys’ High at the Brug Street Sports Grounds from Monday, 9 July to Saturday, 14 July.

The U13 Craven Week and U16 Grant Khomo Week will run concurrently at Hoërskool Diamantveld in Kimberley from Monday, 2 July to Friday, 6 July. 

U18 Craven Week

Monday, 9 July
10:40 – Griffons vs Blue Bulls XV
12:10 – Border v Limpopo
13:40 – Golden Lions vs Eastern Province
15:40 – Western Province vs Pumas

Tuesday, 10 July:
09:30 – Golden Lions XV v Western Province XV
11:00 – Valke vs Leopards
12:30 – Boland vs Griquas
14:00 – Sharks vs SWD
15:30 – Free State vs Blue Bulls

U18 Academy Week

Monday, 9 July
08:00 – Sharks CD vs Blue Bulls CD
08:00 – Namibia vs Valke CD
09:20 – Zimbabwe vs SA LSEN
09:20 – Griquas vs Valke
10:40 – Border vs Leopards
12:00 – Boland vs Sharks
13:20 – Western Province vs Pumas

Tuesday, 10 July:

08:00 – Pumas CD vs Border CD
09:20 – Eastern Province CD vs Limpopo
