Centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg is thoroughly enjoying his time with English club Sale Sharks.
The Lions star joined the Sharks on loan towards the end of last year, and has made an immediate impact at the club.
The powerful midfielder scored a brace of tries and scooped the Man of the Match award in last Saturday’s 30-29 Premiership win over Harlequins, with the Sharks having now won four of the five games that Janse van Rensburg has featured in since arriving.
Janse van Rensburg told the Sale Sharks website that he had certainly found it easy to fit in under the guidance of director of rugby Steve Diamond.
‘From my own perspective I still think there are a couple of things I can work on, but every week I have been enjoying it so much here at Sale with Dimes [Diamond] and the whole squad.
‘They have made it very comfortable for me to come and fit in and just play my game.
‘The coaching staff here at Sale are fantastic and the whole team’s dynamic is just amazing. It has made it so easy to for me fit in and that’s a rare thing to find in rugby. Sometimes it can be quite difficult when you are a new guy to fit into a place but here it has been easy and I really appreciate that.’
Janse van Rensburg is expected to rejoin the Lions ahead of the Super Rugby season.
