Michael Rhodes will join English club Saracens at the end of the Vodacom Super Rugby season.
The 27-year-old has appeared for the Stormers at both flank and lock this year.
'Michael was one of the stand-out performers for the Stormers and Western Province last year. He’s a powerful runner with the ball in hand and he’s an imposing presence at the set piece,' said Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall. 'The modern game demands that a player possesses a wide range of skills; and Michael certainly does. We look forward to him joining the club in July.'
Rhodes, who played for the Sharks from 2008 to 2010 and the Lions in 2011 and 2012, has earned 30 Super Rugby caps since making his debut in 2011.
