Munster coach Rassie Erasmus refused to say how far his team could go in the European Champions Cup after qualifying for the quarter-finals.

Munster's 14-12 win against the Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun took them six points clear at the top of Pool 1, with one round of group matches remaining.

The Warriors led 12-9 after an hour of Saturday's match, but were reduced to 14 men when fullback Stuart Hogg was yellow-carded.

The Irish province made their advantage count, with replacement Francis Saili scoring a try out on the wing, and while the conversion was missed, they were able to hang on for the win.

'If the players play as hard as they can and that takes us as far as possible, I think we would be stupid to put targets out there,' Erasmus told reporters when asked how far his team could go in the competition. 'We are still a fairly new team, a fairly new management team, so it's difficult to gauge where we can go.

'But if we avoid picking up a lot of injuries and keep our form like this, I think we've got a chance of getting somewhere.'
