Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has told players what they need to do to make the 31-man World Cup squad later this year.
Erasmus recently visited the Bulls, Lions and Stormers and is set to meet the Sharks this week.
According to Rapport newspaper, he had three answers for players eager to know what they must do to book a ticket to Japan.
– Play very good rugby for your franchise and help them.
– Be above average in all departments of the game like tackling, scrum work, cleanout at the rucks and on attack.
– Show something that separates you from the rest. Consistency alone will not get you there.
Erasmus added: ‘If you set the world on fire this season, you will go to the World Cup.’
