Gonzalo Quesada has replaced Mario Ledesma as head coach of the Jaguares.
Ledesma, who took the Jaguares to the quarter-finals of this year’s Super Rugby tournament, was recently appointed head coach of Argentina.
Quesada, a former flyhalf who earned 38 Test caps for the Pumas, led Stade Français to the French Top 14 title in 2014-15 and the European Challenge Cup in 2016-17.
‘It was time to go back to my country and bring Argentine rugby all my experience,’ Quesada said.
‘My biggest challenge is to have more players, improve the preparation and contribute to Argentine rugby as it continues to grow. If we only think of the results we are going to make a mistake. We want this process to move forward.’
