Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse has made two changes to his starting XV to face the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Friday.
U20 prop Morgan Naudé makes his first start for the Pumas, replacing the experienced Kwezi Mona, while Jeandré Rudolph comes in for Stefan Willemse, with Willie Engelbrecht shifting from No 8 to blindside flank.
Lock Hugo Kloppers retains the captaincy in the continued injury-enforced absence of centre Hennie Skorbinski.
The backline remains unchanged from the team that went down narrowly to the Blue Bulls in Pretoria.
