The Stormers have been further boosted as centre Rikus Pretorius has reportedly put pen to paper on a new deal with Western Province Rugby.
Netwerk24 reports that the promising young midfielder has decided to commit his future to Western Province with his new contract set to run until at least 2023.
The 21-year-0ld Pretorius – who played for the Junior Springboks in 2018 and 2019 – was rumoured to be a subject of interest for the Vodacom Bulls as his contract was set to expire this year.

However, news that he has decided to stay in Cape Town will come as a massive boost to Western Province and the Stormers.
This also comes shortly after Province signed two promising young players in flyhalf Kade Wolhuter and loose forward Keketso Morabe. The 18-year-old Wolhuter, who was schooled at Paul Roos Gimnasium in Stellenbosch, returned to the Western Cape after a stint at the Montpellier academy in France.
