Waratahs flank Stephen Hoiles will replace the injured Jacques Potgieter for the match against the Sharks in Sydney on Saturday.
Potgieter, who will join the Sharks at the beginning of the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby season, has been ruled out with a chest injury suffered in the loss to the Force last weekend.
Meanwhile, Michael Hooper has recovered from the knee injury that saw him limp off the field against the Force, and is fit to take his place on the side of the scrum.
