Tatafu Polota-Nau will start at hooker for the Waratahs against the Cheetahs in Sydney on Saturday.
Polota-Nau switches places with Hugh Roach, who is on the bench.
Jed Holloway has been ruled out of this Saturday's clash after dislocating his shoulder in training. His place in the starting lineup is likely to be taken up by Wycliff Palu, with Ned Hanigan coming on to the bench.
Israel Folau may be ruled out if he does not recover from illness that caused him to miss Thursday's training session.
