JP Pietersen will start on the right wing and Pat Lambie at flyhalf for the Sharks against the Reds this Saturday.
Centre Paul Jordaan's knee injury and the unavailability of wing Odwa Ndungane (family bereavement) has forced Sharks director of rugby Jake White to make changes. Pietersen, who only recently returned from Japan, is pushed straight into the starting side, while S'bura Sithole will fill the gap at No 13.
The return of Lambie allows Frans Steyn to shift back to No 12. Lambie missed last week's match against the Lions because of tick bite fever.
